I'd go further: this adds to the increasing evidence showing breast is NOT part of Lynch. That said, when breast cancer does occur in women with Lynch it tends to loose mismatch repair (so a potential target for immunotherapy) and be medullary in type. doi.org/10.1093/jnci/djad153

Maybe @vaughangething and @WelshGovernment will now sit up, take notice and do something, such as providing medical Consultant-led #LongCovid clinics. If they don't then they will be discriminating against those disabled by #LongCovid @covidinquiryuk @long_covid

There was a deliberate, concerted effort on Friday to poison public perception through the media. Even if corrections/retractions are made, the damage is already done. LC advocates don't have journalists in our pockets like these people do. We need scientists/Drs to speak up.

Appalling. A disgraceful, reprehensible misrepresentation of the facts on #LongCovid @long_covid
Shame, shame, shame on @guardian for publishing such headline & on #LongCovidAwarenessDay of all days. Study DID NOT find it’s time to stop using the term #LongCovid which shouldn’t be between quotation marks. Ask yourself in whose interest this dismissal & stigmatisation is in.

Re lack of testing capacity in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 & premature discharge of elderly. The @covidinquiryuk should look into what happened to the negotiations with Roche by Gething that fell through. He said then wasn't the time to ask questions. Now is. #WalesLive @long_covid @cymru_inquiry

Always interesting to hear about Prof Cumming work. Just occurs to me we haven't heard of any one else investigating language difficulties in Long Covid... Is Prof Cummings the only one?
