It’s sick to see how many Europeans came over here to actually enjoy US culture. Saw a guy look at a Bucee’s gas station the same way I’d look at Stonehenge

I’m sorry, but out of everything in the FISA fight, a U.S. Senator saying “Mr. Trump, follow the law” after The occupation of MN Illegal wars ICE & DHS DOGE & SO MUCH MORE must be, & I mean this with all due respect, the most detached from reality thing I’ve heard yet. My God.
FISA latest: Sen. Warner tells reporters his problem isn’t w/ Sen. Cotton or Leader Thune, adding lawmakers in both chambers & people in admin including the Cabinet have tried to get admin to take off-ramp “There’ve been a half dozen exit ramps for the White House on this problem. They have chosen not to take them.” Adds: “We don’t need to be here. Mr. Trump, follow the law.”

Time for a 🧵 Both parties failing to stop warrantless surveillance of Americans’ communications, & failing to conduct real congressional oversight so that no president could be positioned to insert people into the IC to abuse vast surveillance powers led us to this place. 1/10

On D-Day, June 6, 1944, Charles Durning was among the thousands of Americans who stormed the beaches of Normandy. Today, we honor his legacy by sharing the Purple Heart recipient’s powerful firsthand account from the 2004 National Memorial Day Concert. #MemDayPBS #DDay #CharlesDurning #WWII

My grandfather, who was born & raised in the Jim Crow south, was drafted & served this nation—his nation—honorably in WWII, fighting for the dignity and freedom of all people. Secretary Hegseth desecrates the hallowed ground Americans bled & died on with these disgraceful words.
At Normandy, Secretary Hegseth recognized today the significant courage and sacrifice of those who stormed World War II beaches against Nazi forces. Then, per a pool report, he added this: "Sadly, today, different European beaches are stormed by different dangerous ideologies. Beaches in Spain and Italy and Greece and Bulgaria. Boats and men arrive. When will European capitals do something about that invasion? Or is it too late? I pray not, and I believe not."

Why does the Atlantic hurricane season begin in June? There are a few reasons, but chief among them is the relaxation of vertical shear across the western Caribbean, Gulf, and SW Atlantic as the North American continent warms up and the subtropical jet stream weakens. On average, shear values prohibitive to tropical development (30 knots) disappear from the pink-outlined region in early-mid June, while continuing to shut down the eastern Caribbean and deep tropical Atlantic until much later in the summer.

No surprise coming from the most corrupt and lawless administration in American history. The scale at which they’re attempting to chill constitutionally protected speech is wild.
