What? The service portal - intended to facilitate a smooth and efficient self-service experience - kills end-user productivity? Portals are touted as a means for ‘contact deflection’ (a IT-centric view), yet result in a poorer end-user experience? What are we (IT) thinking?
In the @HappySignalsLtd Global IT Experience Report, Happiness with the service portal experience has increased by 3%, but it still remains the biggest productivity killer with an average lost time of 4 hours 19 minutes. #ITXM #ServiceDesk #ITSM

Isn't that a bit like leading a horse to water, but you can't make it drink? 🤔
I shall be holding his hands to the keyboard. I would “hold his feet to the fire” but that would not help his typing.

A lot to look forward to in 2022 if these trends and predictions are correct! I am especially looking forward to watching the growing influence of CIOs on the business. Any other predictions you'd add to this list? buff.ly/3Dxq0tc
