Seigla Medical has learned that ALL GUIDE CATHETER EXTENSIONS can rotate during delivery. As a GCE "SPINS", the push rod wraps itself around the guide wire.
WRAPS = PORT INTERACTION
This video illustrates a simple technique to prevent GCE rotation throughout the case.
The technique works particularly well with the #LiquID guide extension. The push rod is torsionally strong and resists rotation.
