Both 2023 and 2024 were significantly warmer than we'd expect based on the approximately linear rate of warming (and variations around that trend) the world has experienced since 1970.
It is further evidence that the rate of warming may be accelerating.

One of my ambitions for 2025 is to help kick-start an e-cargo bike last mile delivery service in #Eastbourne. I believe the time is ripe for such an initiative in a town that now has atrociously severe, chronic traffic congestion, impacting severely on local business efficiency.
