@GastroMJB #Gastroscopy in 21 with just throat spray caused sub conjunctival haemorrhage. 2023 I had IV sedation & still coughed & retched & had a milder sub conjunctival haemorrhage. Saturday had another with throat spray, midazolam & fentanyl. Cough Red dots over face &neck

@NEndoscopy @BritSocGastro How often does sub conjunctival haemorrhage happen post #gastroscopy? If a pt has ? petechiae around eyes too, would it be presumed to be from coughing? If this then spread over face&neck by 9 hrs why do discharge leaflets not mention this complication?

@GastroMJB @NEndoscopy @BritSocGastro It wld be helpful to warn patients before #gastroscopy about risk of sub conjunctival haemorrhage & facial and neck petechiae. If it's not petechiae then could it be allergy to mouth guard elastic strap & O2 nasal cannula? What next? 📱☎️?

@GastroMJB @NEndoscopy @BritSocGastro There was nothing in pt leaflet to tell me sub conjunctival haemorrhage&red dots over eyelids, around eyes,face & neck are possible complications. Google says it's petechiae! When I left Beynon it was around eyes. 9 hrs post over face & neck

Cutting support for young disabled people won’t get them into work - it will push them into poverty.
We need to reverse last year’s cuts and fight the growing calls to take even more from disabled people.

@sainsburys Sent you DM as req on 21st Oct 25. You haven't replied.Posted faulty packaging to head office Aug 24, still no reply! I've phoned a few times to Customer Services in SA!! Who say all they can do is email Product/quality team to call within 3 days.Nobody got in touch

@sainsburys What is your formal complaint policy please? Repeatedly being ignored from August 2024 re product quality concerns is too long now. Now I have a new fault with another ready meal. Brings a whole new meaning to Taste The Difference sadly. Please reply from the UK.

@sainsburys The reason people in your customer services give for not being able to contact head office or to phone me back wth update is; they are in South Africa &have no contact details to phone you/email you directly. It is very poor customer service. Stores can't help either

@collettasmith @BenMBoulos Just seen you on @BBCNews talking about inflation. It is not good news for those disabled who've had to do managed migration to switch from ESA & HB to UC.Those wth transitional protection will have Annual uprating deducted from #transitionalprotection

@collettasmith @BenMBoulos I believe the September inflation figure is what the April annual uprating will be set from.The higher that rises,those with transitional protection will have all uprating deducted. This will happen every year, as will any rent increase, until TP = £0

@sainsburys Now a year since stores told me to post faulty packaging. No reply.Oct 24 I phoned up & again in Feb.Both people, not in UK said they couldn't speak to head office. They said back office wld email & quality team would phone withing 3 days. I'm still waiting!!

I want to pay tribute to disabled people's organisations. That the government made so many concessions is testament to the pressure they put on MPs.
I still oppose this Bill but the original was far worse. Many disabled people's incomes have been saved thanks to their efforts.

I voted against the Universal Credit and PIP Bill.
Even with the concessions, it still contains billions of pounds of cuts for new claimants of the Universal Credit health element.
The process has also been a rushed shambles, without proper scrutiny, evidence or information

The government concession on setting up the review of PIP conditions has been rendered meaningless by its refusal to guarantee to put the review recommendations in primary legislation. This means they cannot be amended by votes in Parliament. Further undermines trust.
