Lifeguards return to Eastbourne’s main beaches on 24 May ☀️
Helping residents and visitors stay safe at the seaside, the lifeguards will be located on the beaches between the Pier and Wish Tower from 24 May - 7 September.

Churchdale Road, Eastbourne is closed for emergency South east water works. The road is anticipated to re-open on Monday, 30 September 2024. We're very sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Suspected blue-green algae bloom affecting Princes Park Lake. It's a natural occurrence but the algae can cause rashes, nausea and vomiting. Children and pets should be kept out of the lake. Princes Park splash pad is not impacted and remains open. It runs on a freshwater system
