Great to see @EdGeater on @SkyNews raising awareness of Lewy body dementia and the fact that so often people - including doctors - assume any dementia is Alzheimer's.
Half of all people with Lewy body dementia - including Ed's dad - are wrongly told they have something else first. This can result in incorrect and sometimes dangerous treatment.
People with dementia deserve a better quality of diagnosis than they are receiving.
