This is the Samsung Handy Gam Boy, the version of the Sega Game Gear that was imported and sold by Samsung in Korea. It’s one of the harder Samsung gaming systems to find, making it quite a challenge for collectors. Because of that, a fan produced a small batch of reproduction units. Even the box was faithfully recreated, and they went as far as reproducing the “Handy Gam Boy” branding on the console itself. I was never able to get an original one, so I’m really happy to have something like this to fill that gap in my collection. 😊

X2, also known as X2: no Relief or Project X2, is a 1996 shoot'em up for the PlayStation by Team17 and Ocean Software (and by Capcom in Japan). It's the exclusive sequel to the 1992 Amiga hit Project-X. Allegedly, Capcom collaborated also in the re-design for Japanese audiences.
