Actually this is a VERY VALID argument 👌💯…
also FANSERVICE for some reason always carries a negative notation in BL/GL whereas HETERO series actually also do the same but somehow that’s ALWAYS perceived as “they must be dating in RL”met with a positive note🤔, wonder why🙄
A man and a woman meet on set, start dating, get married, have kids? Completely believable. Nobody questions it.
But make them BL actors and suddenly every interaction is fanservice, every display of affection is a marketing strategy, and any suggestion that they might genuinely love each other gets dismissed as "they're just doing it for money"
Funny how "of course coworkers can fall for each other" instantly becomes "absolutely not" when the coworkers are two men. Then we're expected to believe that years of working closely together could never possibly lead to real feelings. Yeah, that makes perfect sense.🙄
