A patient reached out to us to ask if we could provide emergency bags for patients with a learning disability that they'd seen in another county.
@NUHCharity funded the project and we worked with @teamEDnuh to get the bags in place. More info to come....
Sensory grab bags have been introduced at Nottingham's busy Emergency Department @nottmhospitals to improve the experience of patients with learning disabilities, after @NUH_Ldlt patient Adam fed back on his positive experience at another hospital. orlo.uk/sUhJ4
