Reasons not allowing valuable items in secure container is bad in Tarkov:
1. Discourages PVP. Imagine picking an item up that costs 5 million roubles. You want it, you don't risk anything else, you put it in your secure container or leave. Not allowing it in the secure container means you leave (ties into reason 2). You don't like dying to the guy in the corner right? Right. He's protecting his 5 million rouble item, too bad. I get the thrill of finding it and needing to leave with it but PVP incentive is at an all time low in Tarkov already.
Example: I pop SJ6, hard rush Tarbank, grab the Tarcoins, and leave the raid as fast as possible. I don't stick around or even try to fight someone else.
2. Raids feel dead when people leave in the first 5 minutes, which is exactly what people will do when they get a Tarcoin, regardless of map.
3. Cheaters. I hate games changing things for the regular player to thwart cheaters. But, the reality is, there will always be cheaters. If they can see what you have in your inventory, and you have a valuable item in your bag, they are 1000% going to push you. Secure container prevents that.
4. Rats. Why push in and risk your kit if you know the person coming out is going to have exactly what you want? Rats love this ( right
@stankRat_ ?👀)
Yesterday it was contested in Tarbank 90% of the raids with at least 4 people every time, today, about 20% with 3 max. I'm sure a big part of that is a reduction on how many Tarcoins you could get, but with both these changes, that fun is out the window with this unfortunately.
