Just as there were undiscerning Christians last century who refused to acknowledge the diabolical evil of the Nazis, so too we have many today who have not the slightest understanding of political Islam and their designs on the West. They think we should just welcome them in with open arms, regardless of their clearly stated hatred of Jews and Christians, and aims of world domination. There are so many Christians who cannot see the threat that stares them in the face.

Thanks, @AndersonCooper, for exploring the 3 principles of technoskepticism with me. They are common sense once you think about child development, or, as you say, your own experience
Social psychologist Jonathan Haidt, author of "The Anxious Generation," shares why he's encouraging more techno-skepticism and warns of the detrimental impact technology can have on kids.

Theology 101: EITHER the ancient Nicene faith is true Christianity OR the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true Christianity (or neither is true Christianity). But IN NO CASE can they both be true expressions of the faith once for all delivered to the saints.

I am so done with refrigerators with flatscreens and washing machines with Wi-Fi connection. Why can’t companies make appliances that just bloody work?

“Part of the definition of love is being willing to burden your loved ones with what will bring them to healing, righteousness, and God. What a strange description of love to modern ears: Love means being willing to burden someone for their own good!” -@TheAlanNoble

“Anti-Racism” often assumes that virtually ALL social inequalities are due to structural, social injustice. If you are a criminal or poor it is not your fault. Anti-Anti-Racism often teaches that virtually NO social inequalities are due to structural, social injustice. If you are a criminal or poor it is always your fault. Because Christianity teaches both individual yet corporate responsibility, both humanity in the image of God yet deep sinfulness, the Bible doesn’t promote either simplistic view. It fully critiques both yet fulfills the best them. It calls strongly for biblical justice but acknowledges the deep complexity of the causes and the solutions without being reductionistic. I've increasingly encountered this too. People lack interests and hobbies, or wanting to learn a new skill. Of course, exceptions, but a general trend.
