The environment is in us, not outside of us, The trees are our lungs, The rivers, our bloodstream. We are all interconnected, and what you do to the environment you ultimately do it to yourself.~Ian Somerhalder #environmental #ClimateAction #GlobalWarming #trees

No one is coming to parent you or save you from yourself. Eat what makes you happy, wear a sweater when it's cold, and treat yourself without waiting for permission. You are your own biggest priority. Your well-being is your responsibility.

Always go to the funeral. Always go to the hospital. You don't need to know what to say. In times of profound crisis, people don't remember your words, they only remember whether you showed up for them at their lowest moment.

If anyone still harboured doubts about Raila Odinga’s status as an enigma, those doubts can now be laid to rest. At Durham University in the United Kingdom, a dedicated team of professors and researchers has been commissioned to study, analyse, and document the extraordinary life and legacy of Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, CGH. When academia begins to turn your life’s journey into a subject of scholarly inquiry, it signifies that your struggles and ideals have transcended politics, they have become a syllabus in the school of history. His Name is Jakom!!

If you can read and write, please read Nelson Amenya’s article on David Maraga. There is no reason for voting to be shot on the legs if you can vote and live to maturity, to die old with all your limbs intact and firm. The choice is entirely yours.

The Value Nairobi has from being the only capital city in the world having a National Park, cannot match this thought process. How ignorant is this? We cannot be having leaders who think protected areas are open for destruction.

This is madness of the highest order that should not be tolerated at all. Industrial parks are not developed within national parks. We need to do better as a country.

The population of Nairobi is growing and it cannot remain the same. Even the national park must be used to develop Nairobi. We must move those animals to the Maasai Mara and ensure that Nairobi reflects an international city like others - Francis Atwoli

🌊 If Kenya’s Rivers could speak, they would cry out: "Stop Polluting us!" For too long, this vital waterways have suffered from pollution, neglect, and waste. Imagine rivers had rights—if they could demand protection and accountability in the courts. ⚖️ This isn't just a dream; Nationally, my dream is for rivers and ecosystems to be recognized as legal persons with the power to defend themselves. I urge every one wherever you are;, to champion the declaration of River (s) as a legal person 💧—bestowing upon them the rights to flow clean, be free from pollution, and return to health. This is not just a policy matter; it's a moral imperative! ⚖️ Declaring the rivers Legal Persons means industries, municipalities, and individuals would be held accountable—not just by regulators, but by the rivers themself, with legal guardians fighting for their rights. Let's unite to heed the rivers call. It’s time to reimagine environmental justice! Are we ready to give Rivers the voice they deserves? Let’s discuss!. @WRA_KEN @MOWSI_KE @WWF_Kenya @Earthwatch_Eur @Africa_WaterAmb @KeWruas @UN_WWQA @water_witness @drinkablerivers @WWFSverige @NLinKenya #Sdg6 #Target632 #Catchment2Tap #LeadingTheChange
