Apart from that, what was most encouraging was the fluidity of ball movement and pressing intensity from the team. They played like a side that Poch himself would be proud of.

After a sleepy first half, the game certainly came alive in the second. Krejci headed home from a cleverly executed throw-in routine that came out of nowhere. Hwang In Beom scored calmly before he provided a delightful cross for Oh Hyeon Gyu to tap in.

Talking about #Czechia, they created almost nothing from open play. While their set-piece wits have to be appreciated, criticism about their chance creation from open play is also justified.

Starting with #MexicoVsSA, Sithole probably had the worst game ever as a World Cup outfielder, with a red and an error leading to a goal. After the first goal, Mexico took their foot off the gas despite the red.

However, the main man today was #JulianQuinones. Came up with the opening goal, and completed the most dribbles in the game. Speaking of South Africa, they had nothing positive to take from the game. Maybe the fact that they did not concede in an 11v11 game and without errors?
