South near Boerne and Bandera and Lakehills received estimates of 6 to 8 inches. Water rescues in the area have occurred.

Commissioner Buckingham is offering access to GLO-managed lands to help fight against the New World Screwworm.
This week, she sent a letter to both @SecRollins and @GovAbbottPress offering GLO-managed lands to assist response operations to stop the active, escalating threat of the New World Screwworm.
The GLO is willing and ready to help the State and @USDA protect Texas livestock, support our ranchers, and safeguard our agricultural economy.

A free New World screwworm inspector training is now available to all Texans through AgriLife Learn.
The course covers New World screwworm biology, inspection protocols, reporting and more, and is open to anyone who wants to better understand how to protect their animals. Those who qualify may apply to become a certified New World screwworm inspector through @TAHC.
