(un)popular opinion: cardano's biggest problem isn't technical. it's ux/ui - and almost nobody is treating it seriously
we talk endlessly about throughput, smart contract languages, interoperability. all valid. but the average person landing on a cardano product for the first time is confused, overwhelmed, and gone within minutes
and what's the worst about this friction - it is silent. it doesn't file a bug report. it just leaves you
the teams that will win long term aren't necessarily the most technically advanced. they're the ones that make complex things feel simple. technology gaps close over time - user trust, once lost, rarely comes back
if you're building in this ecosystem: obsess over onboarding. remove every unnecessary step
assume-your-user-knows-nothing
and that's not dumbing it down mindlessly - it's about respecting their time and pocketing cash in form of increased revenue
ux/ui is the moat very few here are building
i don't get it tbf
nb: we are getting better and better in writing proposals tho
