This tip is no longer valid, if you look at the dynamic actions in Oracle APEX 22.2
There is a new attribute type under Execution that can be set to Immediate, Debounce or Throttle
I'm already in love with this small but so great improvement.

Monday's Tip for Oracle APEX:
You want to react to user input in your Oracle APEX application, but you end up with too many triggered events. This can lead to many problems (especially when the event triggers an AJAX call) and a terrible UX (see the gif below).

The “APEX Builder Extension by FOS” has been updated to 21.2.2 for Chrome FF with fixes for:

Just used the #orclapex FOS Timer Plug-in. It checks regularly if a item has a new state and fires an event so I can react with a DA, love it ✌️foex.at/fos/

Not sure when it first started occurring, but this is indeed a bug and affects 20.2. I believe a fix is planned for 21.1.
Until then, the FOS browser extension can compile and save Less static files just fine 😏
