You have spent the better part of a decade doing nothing but kick and scream about the fatal flaws of JCPOA and push for exactly the conflict you got.
Did you really never anticipate this outcome? Did you think we'd just go in, kill a few people, topple a regime, and come out the other side with a completely non-nuclear and pacified Iran? I'm sorry but that is analysis so far detached from reality that I don't even know where to begin. Some of us have been warning of this exact outcome for years.
Of course JCPOA was a bad deal. Anyone that has spent any time on Iran knew it was a bad deal full of loopholes but that wasn't the point. The point was that it was *a* deal and was a foundation to build upon diplomatically. It got the two sides talking. That is how diplomacy works.
The options weren't bad deal or better deal, the options were bad deal or no deal at all. The President selected option two. He has to live with the consequences of that and one of those consequences is going to be a "deal" that is infinitely worse than JCPOA, now with a far younger and more extreme leadership in place that believes Iran can and should be a regional superpower.
You sit here day after day spiking the football about Iranian combat losses, which you dramatically overestimate by the way, and you fail to realize there has not been a single strategic goal achieved in this conflict. Every single thing you've begged to change for a decade has been made immeasurably worse.
