It was clear @dawahxdialogues didn't know what she was talking about. At first she said a sufficient cause means it's the only thing that is necessary, but then she said sufficient doesn't mean "only." They just make things up as they go along.

Sloppy apologetics, if contradictions were reconciled by inventing unlikely ad-hoc details, then you can reconcile almost anything.
The more likely conclusion that is driven by the data and not by the dogma, is that Luke-Acts preserves a distinct tradition of the death of Judas and Matthew preserves his own tradition.
It simply just is a contradiction!

An age old contradiction that still can’t be reconciled. The death of Judas is a mystery, in one account he hung himself and in another account he fell headlong and his body burst open. Two different accounts and both cannot be right. Christians. How do you TRULY reconcile this.
