Remember how a few months ago I talked about how I would revisit my car insurance after I got married and my speeding ticket fell off my record and I would be pissed if I was getting hit with the single tax? $230/mo before. Now $14.50/mo when added to my husband's plan. PISSED!

My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats β€” it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.

No one behind him got hurt? No one in the crowd immediately tackled the shooter? There wasn't more bleeding from his ear? No one cleared the roofs and other elevated areas before the rally? When a President came to our base, the place was crawling with suits days before hand.
This would be a gigantic failure of the Secret Service. A full investigation is required immediately.

Chevron is now overruled. The administrative state just died. The imperial judiciary joins the imperial presidency, relegating Congress to a secondary role except when it legislates with unrealistic specificity and foresight.

This conservative decision will make it harder for President Biden or future presidents to act on major policy areas β€” from wiping out student debt and expanding protections for pregnant workers to curbing climate pollution and regulating artificial intelligence. Via @politico
BREAKING: In a ruling that will have massive implications for the power of federal agencies, the conservative majority on the Supreme Court just overruled the Chevron rule β€” the 1984 precedent that called for judges to give deference to federal agencies' interpretation of laws they administer. This is a big win for conservatives and business.

This decision is the worst possible outcome. The extreme MAGA majority on the Court just made a HUGE power grabβ€”taking power away from Congress to protect the American people and power away from our agencies to enforce the laws we write. The laws that keep our air clean, our medicines safe, and our rights protected. Congress must pass the Stop Corporate Capture Act, restore power back to Congress, and remove policymaking from the unelected judges with lifetime appointments.

Very arguably, the overruling of Chevron will have a far broader effect, on more people, than any case from this Court to date. Other cases they've done represent huge changes for some Americans (eg abortion, affirmative action) but this is utterly cross-cutting for society.

Hard to overstate how far-reaching this act of judicial legislating will be. Ending Chevron deference is a huge power grab for the Court, a seizure of power and influence from Americans' elected representatives and the people they represent by the conservative justices

I find generational differences fascinating. The 13 year old wanted to know what the 9 circles of hell were. I, a Millennial born in 1990 who grew up researching on paper before the Internet came along in middle school, would Google it. She went to YouTube to find a video.

I want to read my answers. I struggle with audio processing speeds and get bored. I can read faster than I can listen. She would rather have someone teach her through audio with graphics. So fascinating!
