Cheaper intelligence is a big deal because it expands the surface area of demand for AI.
Use cases that did not make sense when tokens were more expensive start to make sense as token costs fall. As the cost threshold changes, new things become worth doing.
Cheaper tokens create more demand, which then drives the need for way more power and new infrastructure.

$2B/year for 1 GW implies ~$228/MWh power, assuming 100% capacity factor and excluding backup. That’s super expensive.
But makes the point even stronger. Power for compute is less a cost problem than an access problem.

But it understates the broader direction. Expect more BESS paired with AI data centers, and more existing technologies finding new use cases in the AI buildout.
