Very few people realise that the vast majority of hospice and palliative care is provided by charity - not by the NHS. I think this is a national scandal. Please RT if you do too 🙏

In this interview with @skynewsniall, Dr Rachel Clarke (@doctor_oxford) emphasises the need to prioritise quality end of life care. Regardless of Parliament's decision on assisted dying, fixing the funding of our struggling hospice and end of life care system is essential.

This is heartbreaking. Six weeks ago Shalorna’s baby son Zack and sister Karlene were killed by a drunk driver doing 141mph. She is broken, but has still summoned the strength to campaign for a change to drink driving laws. Her petition is here… change.org/p/implement-manda…

Our criminal justice system has been starved of the resources and innovation it needs to deliver justice effectively and protect the public. I look forward to working with the new Government to deliver their commitment to reform criminal justice and put the needs of victims first

Yet again @jessphillips standing up to misogyny and hate. A brilliant MP and one of the strongest voices in this country on tackling violence against women and girls. Delighted to see her re-elected and now have the opportunity to better protect women and girls in this country.

"This election has been the worst election I have ever stood in." Jess Phillips is met with boos and jeers from the audience as she narrowly wins her Labour seat in Birmingham Yardley. Watch #C4BritainDecides NOW on @channel4 until 9am. #GeneralElection2024

Flagging this @wesstreeting in sincere hope you will address as likely next health secretary. The NHS has a duty of candour. That has to come from the top down. Spinning. Misleading. Misrepresenting truth to patients. All are completely unacceptable.
I’m simply horrified to see @NHSEngland now literally breaking the law in how it misrepresents physician associates & other allied health professional - who are NOT doctors - to the public. These posters are from the Bradford District & Craven Health & Care Partnership. 1/n

@RobPocock1’s the candidate that can bring about change to Sutton Coldfield. Rob has been fighting for a better Sutton for over 2 decades, whatever the GE result he’ll still be here in Sutton because he doesn’t give up on us! He is the MP our great town deserves and needs! #RP4MP
It’s time for change.

When Junior Doctors are on £16 an hour and MP's are on £46 an hour. And raising the Junior Doctors pay by £4 an hour is unaffordable, even though they just raised MP's pay by £5 an hour. It's hard not to see the lie. RT if Junior Doctors NEED paying.

If you believe a single thing the Tories say about our NHS then you haven’t been paying attention They’ve had 14 years to deliver what they said they would and improve services But they’ve failed continually and seen NHS performance worsen against every meaningful metric

Every single time the Conservatives come to power they increase the size of NHS waiting lists. Please don't let them blame it on Covid or anything else; they were doing exactly the same thing in the 90s. Please RT if you think everyone should be clear on this.
