What a mess! The failed privatisation of court transcription services is unravelling with Canada’s VIQ solitions rapidly winding down its Australian operations. This is leaving Federal courts and many State courts in the lurch. Transcripts are essential. abc.net.au/news/2026-06-05/v…

Every state doing this wants to harvest all your data
Florida is suing to force OpenAI to verify your age before ChatGPT will talk to you. The catch: there's no way to prove you're an adult without handing over your ID, your face, or being subject to constant surveillance and profiling.

Early evidence is that Steam's new Personal Calendar is WAAAAY better than Popular Upcoming!! Moon River is 2 weeks from launch with ~7000 wishlists. In less than a day after this change, we added >700 wishlists!!
The changes to Popular Upcoming will be felt by small indies. BUT! The new Personal Calendar might be the perfect replacement? It shows up earlier on the page. Is specific to YOUR interests. And let's you easily scrub through future AND PAST releases! Here's hoping it helps 🤞

In 2017, Andrew Chapman conclusively proved that the Passion Translation contained plagiarism. @BroadStreetPubl saw his emails (image below) and responded saying they were "making adjustments." They covered up what Chapman found and moved on. But we found way more... (LINK ⬇️)

Hopefully there will be enough time for all the intentions of One Nation to come out before the next election. #auspol
Pauline Hanson came out today opposing minimum wage raises, and telling Sky News that us young people “don’t want to work”. Personally, I think that’s really fucking bold of Pauline, when you remember she only shows up to vote 54% of the time…

😭😡😵 This debate happened today, June 1, in the UK Parliament about testimonies from young lower-income girls who were horribly abused by rape gangs that hate whites and are primarily Pakistani Muslims. Police & social workers & Gov't did not protect them, fearing racism labels & more. Those who stood up were arrested. Anyone not taking immediate action to correct this as a top priority can shut up about anything else. If you are a fearful leader, step down. They only got the floor today because 260K signatures demanded it. Approx. 80k girls are in social homes & the UK is failing them. (I have no prior opinions about the Pakistanis, but if you are the problem, you should be called out and stopped.) These gang members are not respectable men. NO ONE gets a free pass to hurt any child.

This is one of the most difficult 6 minutes of video to watch, but everyone should. It’s a disgrace on the United Kingdom. We should not have allowed this to happen. The girls deserve justice, as do the sick perpetrators and those who covered it up. To say that this independent rape gang inquiry is futile, is wrong. The victims voices will now be heard. This cannot be avoided anymore. Justice must now be served.

A quote from one of the victims... On police attitudes: “The police just looked at us as dirty little prostitutes... A child cannot consent to anything – they can’t consent if they want a packet of sweets or a fizzy drink. How can a child consent to sex with a 30-year-old man?”

This is what you get when your culture is too weak to protect girls from Islam. The entire world needs to take note.

A researcher found critical Windows zero-days. Reported them to Microsoft. Microsoft denied the bug bounty. Deleted their account. Banned them from GitHub. Then threatened criminal charges. The researcher dropped six zero-days in six weeks. Three got used in real attacks within days. Other researchers are now handing them free vulnerabilities as a gift. Microsoft’s Digital Crimes Unit is considering legal action. Against the person whose bugs they refused to pay for. This is Microsoft’s bug bounty program.

The media is focused on the minimum wage announcement, so the Albanese government announces that they're going to start cancelling Centrelink payments again using the exact same unlawful tool. Millions of payment suspensions are still happening, the system is not offline.

Your job provider cannot demand your payslips. It's a breach of the deed if they harass you for them by booking appts, or threaten/suspend your payment if you don't hand them over. Contact me if your provider is doing this: jeremy@antipovertycentre.org static1.squarespace.com/stat…

"VPNs have no clear benefit" This is the type of dumb shit ID verification supporters say to justify mass surveillance laws
VPNs occupy a similar role in society to guns. They cause many significant harms and have no clear benefit, yet their legality is mysteriously correlated with places you want to live.

Someone just pointed out to me that passing us worn out subs, at fabulous cost to us as well, is an excellent way to get rid of the huge cost of decommissioning these nuclear nightmares. How stupid must Australia look.
In the 17 years since the future sub program commenced, Defence has spent 3,400 million NOT buying French subs 🤦‍♂️ and 1,000 million NOT life extending Collins subs 🤦‍♂️ and 5,000 million on US subs that WON’T arrive🤦‍♂️. #waste #CapabilityGap #AUKUS #aupsol crikey.com.au/2026/05/27/def…
