TRAINING: Firefighters carried out an acid attack exercise on the train network in #EastLondon. Copious amounts of water is key in the initial moments after an acid attack
3, i also learned that people invest far too much time on what strangers heres think of them than is healthy concentrate on those who are there to hold you make you laugh love you despite your (my) faults: )
2, Many lessons learned over the last few months one on the main ones being some see Twitter not as a tool to engage and socialise but to take their anger out on the world thant i dont always need to be other peoples mouth piece when issuses arise

Nor sure with is more annoying the ignorant you cant do the job comments from men to women doing the job or hormonal women who just want a fantasty fufilled #FirefightingSexism
No Ella what is insulting is that despite the first woman joining us in 1982 people see firefighting as a man’s job. Women see policing as more achievable than firefighting. There must be a reason & one of those is the media’s stereotypical view of the fire service.
Seriously this is such an insulting thing to say about women - we’re so weak willed that unless we see ourselves represented we won’t be able to achieve. We’ve got no agency - we can’t do anything unless we’re shown we can do it.
We hope you never have to be rescued but with our breathing apparatus on you wouldn’t be able to tell or indeed care whether it was a man or woman. All our crews have to reach the same physical standard #FirefightingSexism
