👀 a post this week on FB - kid didn’t realize he was off and posted he was looking for a tournament to play in🥲 - yth so misguided does the word #game not exist? the word #team is fading too - #guestplayer it’s leaked into college #transferportal
Every youth ⚾️ parent/player should listen to what was just said - #gottobeaplaymaker - & if u want to play at next level learn to move ur body like @gpickit25 in the video - takes more then playing #tournaments

I'm 💯% for transferring the ball in the center of my body. I also know that U better have a full tool box of different transfers when it comes to playing SS at the highest level. When trained correctly U can have freedom/confidence to make plays w/out sacrificing ball security.

It’s about that ⏱of year where the new arrivals learn how much they don’t know - everyone who played at the level is #guilty! Also⏱ when #coaches start to realize whether the new arrivals get them a bonus or a headache! #beenbothoftheseexamples

Yth ⚾️ #coaches 🛑 chasing tournaments & #mlb # of games in effort to play better comp so ur players get better - #misguided. run high energy, goal oriented practice, demand competition in every drill & u will learn best comp is on ur own field & kids will want more @FirstLookHQ

Great Poll - been 👀 so many posts for fall tryouts where the highlight is how many #games & #tournaments they will play. If ur practice is high energy with kids competing in each drill that should be highlighted cause that is where u #develop

entered “transfer portal” in ‘99 not b/c team, coach or school.wasn’t right fit 4 my style & SAT scores didn’t give many opts-toughest day asking 4 release. 20 yrs later transfers & decoms host 🎉these days.SAT limited my opt, today, too many rush to ✍️ #FOMO w/out due diligence

Lots of references last night #MLBDraft22 about guy was on “the circuit” - whole crop of players on the next talent level down thinking they need to do a “circuit” - spending a lot 💸w/ little return start recognizing which “circuit” ur on - spend on #development
lots of complaints on tourny $ - format-delays.W/ all teams created last 10yrs why can’t u play local? The “play better comp” model doesn’t hold 💧 when u analyze draft - scouts r scouts bc they can project - parents put ur $ to work w/ development -can’t blame any1 if u do that
Thinking about starting a “Practice” Team #3practicesfor1game #travelball 👀 in college u practice 75% of the ⏱u are there. Development at younger age = being able to play at older age.
Second that - played with him @MasonBaseball - great teammate which has translated into a great coach.
