I can't contain my excitement. It seems Carbon aims to solve my biggest problems with C . Backwards compatibility to a point that prevents progress, and culture most notably shown in ISO's restrictions on creating inclusive spaces. I hope Carbon can deliver on its promise.

Went to my first ever Broadway show tonight, the amazing Company revival. During the Q&A afterwards the incident below took place. Just an unbelievable show of entitlement from a fellow audience member. At least everyone else was able to behave like decent people.

The dreaded moment has come. After catching up to @adspthepodcast recently I have been afraid every week. Today it happend, the mid story cut-off and a week's wait until I can continue. A mark to @incomputable 's storytelling. At least I know it'll be worth the wait.

We model 2D & 3D curves while avoiding self-intersection—a natural requirement in graphics, simulation & visualization.
Our scheme also does an *amazingly* good job of unknotting highly-tangled curves!

- writing this stuff is hard
- it's also fun
- you don't need to get *all* of this right; you can take the simple option and have stricter requirements on what your adaptors allow
- give your library implementers snacks and head pats
