Our schools must be inclusive and welcoming to those of all faiths and none - in many schools that means having a room that enables young people to attend school & satisfy the requirements of their faith. It says this is your place and you are welcome here.

Whatever you think about Holland Park's future, surely people like @H_P_S_Official board, leaders, staff, @hollandparkneu , @RBKC leaders like @lionhouse33, @StopTheMATness, @FormerHPS, @UnitedLearning should be able to see debate among DfE officials and elected advisers.

I don’t think these two events can be discussed in the same breath. I fear the council is trying to wash its hands clean from a disastrous dealing with the Grenfell catastrophe by window dressing support for hps “a community project”. So very different things! #justice4grenfell

I reached out to RBKC for very worrying safeguarding failure in 2019. They did nothing apart from leaking about me to the people I was accusing of the failure, who told me "I was being vocal". Some community, eh?

I’m so disappointed that Ofsted haven’t decided to have a proper examination of what went wrong in those previous inspections. Were they dazzled by the charisma? Blinded by preconceptions? This should have been something to learn from.

Ofsted rated it outstanding in 2011 and 2014, and then praised it in 2020 when concerns were raised. Another report found they were misled in 2020, but they were warned that at the time before report came out. For whistleblowers I suspect this will feel too little, too late.

I am so sorry Evie - no one’s school experience should be like this. As a parent I feel guilty that I didn’t call out loud enough when things didn’t feel right. We all owe you, and others like you, an apology. Wishing you every happiness.

I’d like to understand what you mean as I’m not sure. Obviously this isn’t the only school that operates in ways that alienate and oppress. I was particularly struck by them saying “kids have to leave their home and culture at the school gate, it has no place here”

In my personal experience with the former Senior Leadership Team at Holland Park, inadequate HPS without the former SLT is a lot safer place than than the outstanding HPS with the former SLT. Ofsted has to elaborate how outstanding status was granted so blindly.

Shameful. I am fully aware that trust has been lost, rightfully. I hope that the past students and staff had the opportunity to be part of the Safeguarding Review and give their testimonies. We cannot look to the future without first healing the past ❤️🩹
