πŸ”₯Hot take: @NBA is an unwatchable joke. Games seem to be determined by what random calls refs decide to make. Basic rules fundamental to the game (what is a travel? What is a double-dribble?) ⛹️ are ignored. Floppers everywhere. Bring on the @NFL 🏈! PS I haven’t watched an entire game all year so feel free to reply and correct me!

I am genuinely surprised how many people are up in arms because some dude made a lot of money.

I propose we seize every dollar this dude’s multimillionaire wife was given by her family and give it to single mothers.
Musk is worth more than South Africa’s GDP. @BernieSanders and I proposed a 5% tax on people like him. In one year, it could fund: - free public college & trade school -$10/day childcare - Special-needs education nationwide Wealth inequality is the moral failure of our time.

Most Trump voters do not think tariffs should be increased.
New tariff polling: Only 10 percent of U.S. adults say tariffs on foreign goods should be increased compared to 47 percent who say they should be decreased.

PS the biggest trade deficit in U.S. history, which occurred in May 2025, was 100% caused by President Trump's trade policies.
Thanks to President Trump's effective trade policies and deregulation efforts, America's trade deficit is FALLING fast.

πŸ›’οΈπŸ›’οΈπŸ›’οΈAccording to gov't data released yesterday, U.S. exports in April FELL if you take out the increase in oil/gas exports resulting from the Iran conflict.

This clown put big taxes on capital goods imports to make them more expensive and kneecap US manufacturers. Now he says cap goods imports are GOOD? Wish he meant it.
Washington's managed-decline crowd said America had to accept industrial decay, energy dependence, and endless trade deficits. The latest trade report says otherwise: Χ‚βœ…Record exports. βœ…More capital-goods imports to help rebuild industry at home. βœ…A shrinking trade deficit. What an absolutely idiotic statement from BailoutBrooke. β€œIf we have to rely on China for our food….” They rely on us. On our farmers and ranchers and poultry producers. (At least they did until her tariff war screwed things up.)
LISTEN UP if you care about eating or putting clothes on your back. @SecRollins explains all the ways failed leadership has put our nation in an existential crisis. As we embark on our nation’s 250th birthday, we owe a big thank you to @POTUS and his administration for restoring American independence and enabling future generations to enjoy the same liberty and freedom we do.

Lawyer and USTR Greer needs some better staffing to prevent awkward misstatements like this: "The 9 Agreements on Reciprocal Trade...represent real, meaningful new market access for American exports, the kind that American farmers and manufacturers were promised the WTO would achieve." Here is what real progress looks like:

I apologize, that was an unfair criticism of lawyers, who can find that info as easily as any of the rest of us if they take 5 minutes to look for it.

This is the perfect Chyron by Fox. Greer's tariffs target the supplies needed by American workers, farmers, and families, all based on a delusional obsession with trade deficits.
The President's trade agenda hasn't changed. The Administration continues combatting unfair trading practices from our trading partners to lower our massive trade deficit, secure our supply chains, and put American workers first.

Govt stats released this morning show that 57% of U.S. imports in April were either industrial supplies or capital goods like machinery. Continuing to tariff these goods at high rates makes it harder to build, manufacture, and farm in the United States.

In the same way Brooke persuaded Mexico to exempt activities to address screwworm from tariffs, I'd like to propose exempting the $610M sterile-fly factory Mortenson Construction is building from tariffs. They say construction costs are elevated because of tariffs.
