Niche Site Twitter is a lot of things, but I’ve never seen it represent itself as a “get rich quick” scheme.
One of the few online money making ventures where MOST folks in it are very up front and open about SEO taking a long time, and requiring A LOT of work.
It took me 6 months to make my first dollar. Another year and two months before my first thousand dollar month (20 months in!).
The community (by-in-large) is an honest one, because it attracts a certain type of person.
That “person” is able to work on something for many months, often on their own, without seeing any results at all. Yet they keep at it.
Ultimately, those left standing, are the exact opposite of the get rich quick personality.
