For the love of gawd, quit calling artificial turf "turf". Any ground covering is turf. Grass is turf. Astroturf is artificial turf. Don't just make up names.

On this date in 1978, radio station WKRP in Cincinnati, OH held their first (and last) annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drop. News director Less Nessman (five time winner of the Buckeye Newshawk award) was on scene relaying every suspenseful moment. It still stands as one of the historic moments in broadcasting history.

After an excellent grow in @ohioelite on their game fields last year, it was decided to further improve more surfaces. @BarenbrugUSA #HGT w/ @FoliarPak 2 weeks post seeding on 2 more fields. Over half a dozen renovations later, this combination always proves superior @BFrench_ATS

What a year and turnaround for @ohioelite! Vegetation kill off just a year ago and renovation with @BarenbrugUSA #HGT utilizing native soils & grades. Never a doubt these fields could met stringent specs in order to host @USWNT and 3 men's national teams this summer! @BFrench_ATS
