A seminar on “Current Conflicts & Beyond: Technology Transformation & Future of Wars” was organised by DRDO and Center for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS) at DRDO Bhawan today to commemorate the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor.
The seminar was inaugurated with special video message of Gen Anil Chauhan, CDS emphasising joint war fighting capabilities, tri-services integration and the centrality of technology in shaping India’s security posture.
The event was started with welcome by Dr Ranjana Nallamalli, Director DFTM, DRDO and setting the tone by Lt Gen Dushyant Singh, DG CLAWS
Dr U K Singh, DG(SSS), DRDO delivered the inaugural address followed by Dr Prateek Kishore, DG (ACE), DRDO sharing the technological perspectives of future and emerging defence requirements.
Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti, DCAS, presented "Technological Takeaways from Operation Sindoor," offering a definitive assessment of how precision-guided munitions, real-time surveillance, and network-centric warfare assets shaped the operational outcomes of the mission and the enduring lessons they carry for force modernisation.
A special session on Technological Takeaways were organised which was chaired by Lt Gen Vipul Shinghai, DCOAS (IS&T) in which Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti, (DCAS), Lt Gen Rahul R singh, DCOAS (CD&S) , Vice Admiral S N Ghormade, Former VCNS & Dr Prateek Kishore, DG(ACE) shared their insights.
