"After the Rangers game, our worst nightmare happened: the elevator to Penn Station wasnât working.
For most people, thatâs an inconvenience. For us, it meant we were completely stuck.
My son Chris is in a 350 lb wheelchair. Without an elevator, there was no way down. No backup plan. No easy solution. Just a crowded, overwhelming situation with no clear way forward.
We stood there, unsure of what to do next.
And then we met Officer Mears.
And everything changed.
He didnât just point us in a direction or give us instructions. He didnât rush us or treat us like just another situation to manage.
He stepped in fully.
He personally walked with usâblock after blockâsearching until we finally found a working elevator inside Kmart. He stayed with us the entire time, making sure we were okay, never once making us feel like a burden.
But he didnât stop there.
He escorted us all the way to the LIRR, went ahead to find out our track before the rush of commuters even knew, brought us down safely, and set up the ramp so Chris could board the train without being overwhelmed by the crowd.
He thought of everything.
Every step of the way, he made sure my son was safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity.
Along the way, he shared that he had worked with people with disabilities for six years before becoming a police officer.
And you could feel it.
His patience.
His awareness.
His kindness.
It wasnât just trainingâit was heart.
In a moment that felt stressful and overwhelming, he gave us calm. He gave us help. He gave us reassurance that we werenât alone.
That night, he didnât just help us get to a train.
He moved a mountain.
Officer Mearsâthank you for seeing us, for walking beside us when we needed it most, and for showing what true compassion looks like in action.
You reminded us that even in difficult moments, there are still people out there who care deeply⊠and that makes all the difference."

For a while now I have been writing in English on X - and I have recently started doing the same on my biggest platform Facebook.
Not because I have abandoned my Danish voice. But because what is happening in Europe is not a Danish problem. It is not a French problem. It is not a Swedish, German or British problem.
It is our problem. All of us. At the same time.
And you cannot fight a war that crosses every border by only speaking to the people on your own street.
This is not an âusâ question. It is a âweâ question.
The same forces are at work across the entire Western world.
The same ideology expanding into the same institutions. The same political establishment looking the other way. The same media calling those who speak up racists, extremists, hatemongers.
The same silencing. In every language.
And behind all of it - something that goes deeper than politics. Deeper than immigration statistics and election results and EU directives.
Because what we are really facing is a spiritual battle.
A civilization that has cut itself off from its own roots.
That removed God from the public square and replaced Him with the state, the screen and the self.
That dismantled the family, dissolved the distinction between man and woman, and told an entire generation that freedom means having no obligations to anything larger than yourself.
A civilization that weakened itself from within - and is now surprised to find itself vulnerable from without.
The forces moving against the West are not only political. They are spiritual. And they will not be defeated by politics alone.
That is why I write. In English. To whoever will listen.
Because the people who understand what is at stake need to find each other - across languages, across borders, across the noise.

I actually read her bill, and sheâs absolutely right. Itâs not just âamnesty,â itâs so much worse âŹïž
1. Sec. 2303(d): Prohibits DHS from deporting any illegals who simply applies for her âdignityâ program.
2. Sec. 1502: Opens the flood gates to asylum seekers by decreasing processing times and mandates DHS ensures âcontact with legal counselâ (free lawyers for illegals).
3. Sec. 3202: More than doubles per-country immigrant visa caps (more indian immigration).
4. Sec. 3112: Allows the next Democrat AG to terminate removal proceedings against illegals who are family of U.S. citizens.
5. (A cherry on top) Sec. 1516: Mandates STUDENT LOAN FORGIVENESS for immigration lawyers.
These are just a few of examples of the unconscionable nonsense in this treacherous bill. Iâm very glad you killed your own bill with your temper tantrum, though. Saved us a headache on the floor!

This makes me sick. I have been working and paying taxes for almost thirty years. I have never received one dime from the government. I have paid off every dime of my student loans myself.
I'm getting to the point where it is becoming increasingly more difficult to participate in this insane system.
