THE BONDI ISLAMIC JIHAD MASS MURDER TERROR This is how the Chief Rabbi of South Africa Warren Goldstein describes what happened at Bondi Beach. He condemns the Australian government and connects the Bondi jihad to a worldwide pattern. Also explains the spiritual issues. No one else has called it out so powerfully and clearly. Do you agree.

Sending our love and comfort to the small Irish Jewish community and Jewish communities worldwide on this festival of #Hanukkah which begins at sundown this evening, and which points back to one of the darkest chapters in Jewish history. Hanukkah celebrates the rededication of the 2nd Jewish Temple in Jerusalem after it was rebuilt following its destruction by Babylon, reminding us that the God of Israel does not abandon His people when they are in crisis. Despite the darkness of our times, Hannukah shows us that the light will always shine brighter and will eventually overcome the darkness 🙏🏻💙

RIP Pope Francis (1936 - 2025). Born Jorge Mario Bergoglio in Buenos Aires, he was a man of many firsts. The first Jesuit pope, the first from the Americas, and the first non-European to sit on the throne of Saint Peter in over a millennium. Beginning his reign in 2013, he had a well-deserved reputation for humility, plain-speaking, and a deep concern for the poor. A self-styled shepherd rather than a prince, Francis made headlines for washing prisoners’ feet, taking on climate change, and confronting the rot within his own Church. His connection to Ireland were many. In August 2018, he touched down in Dublin for the World Meeting of Families, marking the first papal visit to Ireland since 1979. But the Ireland he encountered was not the one his predecessor saw. Decades of revelations including Magdalene Laundries, mother-and-baby homes, clerical abuse and more had left deep wounds. Francis did not shy away. He offered words of sorrow and shame. He met with survivors. His visit to Knock Shrine in Mayo echoed with the memory of a more devout Ireland. Pilgrims lined the streets. Back at the Vatican, he ditched the papal palace for a guesthouse and swapped the limo for a Ford Focus. A symbolic shift, but a real one. He cleaned house at the Vatican Bank, shutting down shady accounts and pulling the curtain back on decades of quiet scandal. He shifted the tone on social issues. No doctrine changed, but when he said “Who am I to judge?” about gay priests and same sex marriages, the throne of Peter had never been so close to the true spirit of the Carpenter. RIP.

It's not a fight for human rights, or land, or freedom. It's hate. Pure unadulterated Jew hate. Most Irish believe the lie that somehow our fight for freedom is comparable to the Gazan's. What they fail to realise is that Gazan's have been offered their own state 5 times & have refused every time. They were GIVEN Gaza in 2005, lock stock & barrel yet made nothing of it except ruin & damnation. Indigenous Jews with ties to the land going back over 3000 years are designated as colonisers by Gaza. Today their country Israel, with a population of over 10 million (2 million Arabs) is the target of genocide by H@mas, Hezbolla, PIJ, Houthis & more backed by Qatar, Egypt & Iran. 'From the river to the sea' isn't just a chant, it's a promise to murder every Jew living in the middle east & the establishment of a super caliphate under sharia law. A caliphate from the river Jordan to the Mediterranean sea. An islamic caliphate that would crush every Irish nationalist to dust if given half the chance. Does Ireland want to eradicate the UK & extend Ireland from the Atlantic to Norway? That's what H@mas, the government of Gaza want. Does Ireland have a charter to murder every UK citizen & confiscate their land? That's what H@mas, the government of Gaza have. Has Ireland fired rockets continuously into UK since 2000? That's what H@mas, the government of Gaza have done. Has Ireland launched raids into NI murdering 1200 in a single morning & violently capturing hundreds more? H@mas have. Does Ireland hold those people captive, torture & murder them & ransom their corpses? H@mas do. They did it today. Does Ireland use their women & children as human shields or use hospitals as military bases like H@mas? Do they have a multimillion dollar dedicated propaganda arm producing endless videos, documentaries, photographs, news articles replete with special effects & actors portraying a false narrative, non existent famine & imaginary genocide? Has the Irish government refused the UK's offer to return our six counties? Would they ever refuse because they wanted the Atlantic sea to Norway cleansed of every British person ever born? Are any of these things even remotely applicable to Ireland, our government or our people? Because those waving 🇵🇸 flags, marching & chanting would have you believe it is. It's a gross insult & a lie of epic proportions. And before you start shouting 'innocent Gazan's' I'll remind you it was CIVILIANS that captured Shiri Bibas & her two babies. CIVILIANS that guarded hostages in their homes. CIVILIANS that partied today around the corpses of an old Jewish man (peace activist), a young mother, her 4 year old son & her baby. CIVILIANS that voted for H@mas & unanimously support them. The lie of H@mas fighting a 'colonial' occupation has been laid bare for the world to see. This isn't fighting for freedom, this is fighting for hate & I refuse to sit by & condone it because some Irish radicals have a warped idea of false equivalence. People conflating a desire for Irish independence with blood thirsty Islamic terrorists have got it very badly wrong. I hope that every Irish person who is even mildly discomforted by the cruelty & barbarity of H@mas realises this too. Speak up & speak out. Our political leaders have let us down very badly on the international stage. We are so much better than Islamic terrorists. We owe it to ourselves & to every Irish person throughout the world. Ireland is NOT H@mas. Ireland is NOT pro Islamic terrorism. Ireland is NOT pro genocide of Jews. And Ireland does NOT support the violent capture, imprisonment & torture of innocent mothers & their children or of the vile partying around their corpses like we saw today. The world needs to see that we are Irish, we are proud & we refuse to bow to Islamic terrorism or those that support it in our name.

I will admit that, like many attendings, I have some quirky personal preferences when it comes to the resident trainees. All email updates about inpatients must be in formal olde english prose. They're doing this quite nicely: Subject: Most Noble Update on Our Patient's Progress in ye ICU Dear Dr. Canes, Prithee, allow me to share tidings of our patient's journey through the seventh day of their sojourn in our intensive care chambers. Verily, Smith, who was struck down by the fearsome twin afflictions of sepsis and emphysematous pyelonephritis, brought forth by a most troublesome stone of 4 millimeters lodged in the distal right ureter, doth show signs of improvement. The nephrostomy tube of 10 French measure continues to perform its dutiful task, yielding clear waters. Lo, the white blood cells, which once numbered five and twenty thousand, have now descended to a more modest count of eleven thousand, a most favorable portent indeed. Though still bound to the mechanical breath of life, the requirements for circulatory support do diminish with each passing hour. Our learned colleagues in the realm of Infectious Disease continue their vigilant watch over the microbial foes, adjusting the broad spectrum of healing potions as the culture data doth dictate. In faith, we remain optimistic about the course ahead, though the patient shall remain under our watchful care until further recovery is achieved. Humbly inscribeth, John Jones, Apprentice to the Art and Mystery of Surgery, Under the Esteemed Guidance of Master Surgeon David Canes

Today, in 1691, the Flight of the Wild Geese marked a pivotal moment in Irish history. 12,000 Irish Jacobite soldiers fled to France. These vanquished warriors were bound to the Treaty of Limerick, following their crushing defeat at the Battle of Aughrim on the 12th of July that year. The treaty, co-signed on the 3rd of October 1691 by Jacobite commander Patrick Sarsfield, formally ended the Williamite War in Ireland. The defeated Jacobite soldiers were given a choice: swear allegiance to King William III and remain in Ireland, or leave for France to continue serving the deposed James II. Those who chose exile became known as the Wild Geese. Once in France, they were absorbed into all-Irish regiments of the French Army under Louis XIV. By 1697, these Irish brigades had become a notable force in French military campaigns, fighting valiantly in battles across Europe, distinguishing themselves in engagements like the Battle of Fontenoy in 1745. Thus, Ireland haemorrhaged another generation of soldiers and leaders, leaving her immeasurably weakening against English rule and forever changing the course of history on our island. That poignant term "Wild Geese" has since been used to describe Irish emigrants, our diaspora forced abroad for work.

We are all devastated with the news of Jon Passing and our thoughts are with Margy Aaron and Leah. I was lucky to spend so many years touring with Jon and learning from him. Creating some great shows and videos. Hilarious hours in the rehersal room and playing great tunes. But sitting in the kitchen with Margy and Caroline just having the craic in Lough Gur will never be forgotten. Thanks Jon.
