I've had people debate me about handling, physics, and quality of racing games without even playing them. You can't fully experience everything by watching videos, especially in the racing game genre.
So yes, just play the damn games before you talk so definitively about them.

Today, the @EU_Commission replied to the European Citizens Initiative "Stop Destroying Videogames".
New legislation will not be proposed, but exchanges will be initiated with consumers & industry to improve the management of videogames' end-of-life.

I'm definitely looking forward to HW Infinite Rush, but Milestone managed to pick the worst release timing I've ever seen.
Hot Wheels Infinite Rush Preview 🚗🔥
Had the chance to play for around an hour and came away impressed.
• 4 large open-world environments to explore and race across
• 150 vehicles, including the Honda Civic and Liberty Walk R35 GT-R
• 4 vehicle classes: Speeders, Drifters, Titans & Versatiles
• Plenty to do beyond racing, with speed traps, deliveries, stunts, collectibles and more
My time with the game was limited, but the driving felt great, the vehicle selection was strong, and I absolutely loved exploring the map. Looking forward to spending more time with it!

This actually looks better than I expected. The only concern I have is for the physics. I'm not expecting some amazing vehicle physics, but it does look stiff, twitchy, and like the car is steering from the center.
We'll have to see on release, but I'm really excited for this!

I understand why players may not like the abilities in games like NFS Hot Pursuit or Rivals since their core gameplay is built around them.
But Clutch? This harpoon mechanic is seemingly only required in certain missions, and optional in free roam. So, what is the issue? (1/2)

Cars in Clutch can have a harpoon gadget that you can shoot to:
- Make sharp turns
- Flip over police cars
- Hang onto a helicopter (story mission)
The harpoon is mostly free aimed and physics based unless prompted otherwise so devs said it's up to the players to get creative and find different ways of using it

It's not a core gameplay element, and I doubt it's going to be used all that often. I know it's a difference of opinions, but it's gotten to a point where people bitch about and end up discarding a game because of ONE, infrequent mechanic they don't like. It's crazy! (2/2)

Considering some of the harsh reactions to the harpoon ability in Clutch, I can't imagine if something like Blur coming out nowadays. It would have been RIPPED apart for combining real cars with Mario Kart styled powerups...

So far, everything is looking good. Driving looks nice, the setting is interesting, and I like the more over the top elements (using a harpoon to get around corners is really neat). The only thing I really don't like is how much the HUD moves around. It's incredibly distracting.

Open world racing game Clutch will have multiple multiplayer modes
- 2 player coop story campaign
- PvPvE cops and robbers mode
- 16 player races/sessions
The PvPvE mode was described as a game mode where players are competing against each other to steal things around the map all while cops will be chasing them. As you progress in this game mode, you will unlock better cars to run away from cops.
