I instantly called the Hindu Dharmacharya Sabha founder and convenor Pujya Sri Dayananda Saraswathi Swamiji and told Him. We have to fight it Swamiji. Who should take the brief? I said Dr Subramanian Swamy. I requested Pujya Swamiji to speak to him and I will follow up. Pujya Swamiji called back in 3 minutes, I have spoken to Dr Swamy, you may now speak to him. The moment I called Dr Swamy, he said Oh! You’re the one who got me into this, tell Pujya Swamiji that even if we lose in Madras HC, we’ll win in the SC. That was his level of confidence. He did. It was late B R Haran who brought the Podu Dikshitars to meet with Dr Swamy in Chennai. Our good friend @trramesh took over the great task of research and drafting the petition along with Swamy. The rest is history. TRR is a great resource. And very meticulous.
