My team and I are working closely with @GaTrees and federal, state, and local partners, to do all we can to combat the wildfires in South Georgia and provide assistance to affected communities. To that end, I have declared a State of Emergency for the 91 most-affected counties to mobilize all possible response efforts.
Our prayers are with the families who have endured losses in these fires, as well as with the first responders working around the clock.
