🇮🇱 PM NETANYAHU: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene Israel’s security cabinet tomorrow evening following President Trump’s announcement that the U.S. and Iran will sign a memorandum of understanding aimed at ending the war.

Since it is almost certain there will be an MOU, based on POTUS's Truth Social posts and the VP's on and off the record statements, understanding that it is not final but likely soon to be signed, I am seeing precious little discussion or reporting about how it would be enforced to ensure compliance not just in the next few years through the Trump term, but beyond.  In the end, this determines whether any deal can or will hold.  And if the Iranian regime violates the deal, what will we do about it?  What are the options?  The enemy and its Hezbollah proxy violated the ceasefire on a daily basis.  These are very serious issues that need to be wrestled with now, and will surely become important in any final deal, congressional review, and most importantly, in upholding a deal.

New details of a 14-point draft Iran–US memorandum: Immediate and permanent ceasefire on all fronts, including Lebanon. US commitment not to interfere in Iran’s internal affairs and to respect Iran’s sovereignty. Full lifting of the naval blockade within 30 days. Senator Tom Cotton, as chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, has advanced a provision in the FY2027 Intelligence Authorization Act that would require the President of the United States to expand and enhance intelligence sharing with the Government of Israel across a broad list of subjects.
