Around 100 stakeholders, with women and families users at the heart of this group, have been recruited to be meaningfully involved in the drawing up of the Plan, including many who have been so badly served. Are they already being dismissed as irrelevant?

… what does James Mackey, NHS CEO, mean when he says that, after the Amos Report that 'we'll be straight out of the blocks with a Plan?" Does he not know about the stakeholder involvement planned, and how that takes time?

Did I read this statement from @MidwivesRCM correctly?
Presumably many of the midwives exhibiting such poor behaviour are RCM members, and their line managers too. (That's assuming proper line management exists; my hunch is that may be another aspect of this terrible mess.)

Why are we Not surprised with this Times article informing us of the maternity death & harm ?
The push for a maternity non clinical commissioner is Not the answer !
We have currently so many layers of system investigation / scrutiny oversight that are not fit for purpose.
