And yet, a decade on, weāre still not where we need to be, and in some ways the landscape is more problematic than Iāve known it at any point in the nearly-twelve-years since the reality of perinatal death became my reality completely out of the blue in the blink of an eye.

Thereās still so much to do. I only hope that in the weeks and months to come, weāll see different, conflicting, agendas put to one side and a universal focus on building the system up to make it better emerges - because *thatās* how we make things better for families too.

Parenting a child that has died is a very different experience to the norm, but last week I had the great honour of addressing the APPG on Baby Loss about the importance of high quality bereavement care - definitely one for the parenting bucket list! šš²šššš

Twelfth #waveoflight, the first time Iāve ever been away from home for it.
So grateful to work with friends who just got on board without batting an eyelid.
Things in the bereaved parent community are pretty ugly at the moment, so this felt like a moment of respite and calmā¦

š„ Labour voted down my amendment to scrap unfair bus pass restrictions.
š³ The Conservatives whipped their MPs to abstain.
š This isnāt good enough. I wonāt stop until disabled people get the fair, accessible transport they deserve.

Rachael & I have never met. Rachael & Tomās son Henry was stillborn at the end of 2023. I got a message from Rachael a few days later and weāve kept in touch.
On Friday this beautiful card and incredible drawing arrived. Iād be lying if I said I didnāt get something in my eye.
