This deal reopens a body of water that was open before the war and begins a nuclear negotiation far narrower than what Trump was seeking before the war. All at a staggering cost to the entire world while leaving an IRGC-led government that feels strengthened.

Um: preamble to 2015 JCPOA that Trump tore up: "Iran reaffirms that under no circumstances will Iran ever seek, develop, or acquire any nuclear weapons." Literally the same.
Pretty solid that "Iran reaffirms that under no circumstances will Iran ever seek, develop or acquire any nuclear weapons." documentcloud.org/documents/…

I've always wanted a journalist to ask Trump this question: "what were the terms of the JCPOA"? Huge indictment of journalism in the U.S. that no one has done that and his criticisms of the Iran Deal were treated as genuine positions.

As far as I can tell, Tulsi’s big “secret biolab” bombshell is recycled Kremlin propaganda. These labs were never secret. The U.S. spent decades funding biosafety and disease-surveillance work abroad under Nunn-Lugar, with the facility lists posted publicly by the State Department and our own embassy in Kyiv. Russia invented the “secret bioweapons” spin in 2022 to help justify invading Ukraine. Our own intelligence flagged it as disinformation. Now Tulsi is laundering that exact line, while conveniently forgetting the first Trump administration funded this same research. Nothing was hidden and the only thing being manufactured here is the coverup. Tulsi, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Today, I’m releasing never before seen intelligence revealing new evidence of past US government funding for more than 120 biolabs in over 30 countries, including Ukraine. In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI will continue working with partners across the Administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what “research” is being conducted. odni.gov/index.php/newsroom/…

Replying to @SecKennedy @nytimes
The Times set out to examine Secretary Kennedy’s leadership and management style in light of numerous vacancies within the Department of Health and Human Services and concerns internally about his detachment from key issues and officials. The secretary declined an interview request and did not address detailed questions before publication about his approach to running the department. This article is based on conversations with a dozen people who have worked directly with Mr. Kennedy during his tenure as secretary. We are confident in our reporting.

You mean men like Elon Musk
"Very poor white people” are being convinced that “very poor, hard-working brown or Black people” are responsible for the “problems caused by billionaire white men”, Allison Morris, Crime Correspondent at the Belfast Telegraph, says in the wake of the riots that spread through the capital of Northern Ireland overnight.

Nobody has been beheaded. In Bristol (August 2025), Alina Burns (19, white British neo-Nazi) attacked Mohammed Mahmoodi (Kurdish barber, 27) from behind with an axe, targeting the back of the neck. It was motivated by explicit far-right extremism (wanted to kill Jews/Muslims, expel non-whites). She pleaded guilty to attempted murder with terrorist connection and was sentenced to 19.5 years. Musk's rhetoric, as usual, is one-sided and amplified the migrant-perpetrator angle. He never notes equivalent extremism from the far-right. Both attacks were serious attempted neck-targeted murders and deserve equal condemnation, regardless of the attacker's background.
Murderous migrants beheading innocent people in their home town is what’s making people angry, not “social media”!

The first Africans to compete in the Olympic Games were two South Africans, Jan Mashiane and Len Taunyane, who competed in the Marathon at the 1904 St. Louis Olympics. Their participation in the infamous 1904 St. Louis Olympic Marathon is one of the most fascinating and bizarre chapters in sports history. Neither man traveled to the United States as an official Olympic athlete. They were in Missouri as part of the Boer War Spectacle at the World's Fair, which ran concurrently with the Games. They had previously served as dispatch runners during the Anglo-Boer War. They decided to enter the marathon on a whim just before the race began. Because officials struggled with their surnames, they were listed on the program as "LenTau" and "Yamasani". Taunyane was actually on pace for a much higher finish but was chased nearly a mile off-course by a pack of aggressive, wild dogs. Despite the canine detour and brutal conditions that caused 18 out of 32 runners to drop out, both South Africans finished the race. Taunyane finished 9th and Mashiane finished 12th. Any of you prolife Conservatives want to support a child with Down Syndrome. Here is your chance. I'm raising money for my 8-year-old son James with Down Syndrome to get to doctors, buy diapers (he will be in diapers till who knows ), wipes, medical supplies, and to explore the world. He needs 24/7 care and I am his caretaker. gofund.me/267dbc5e gofund.me/267dbc5e

Having to make a decision about whether to proceed with a wanted pregnancy after a diagnosis of a serious congenital decision is one of the worst tragedies a family can face. The overwhelming majority of people faced with this awful choice choose to terminate their pregnancies. People who are steadfast in their opposition to abortion will have one when faced with the prospect of raising a baby that is unlikely to survive childhood or that will be so severely disabled as to require lifelong care. My position is that people who are not dealing with this situation shouldn’t tell people who are dealing with it what they should do, because people facing the reality behave differently than people considering it as a hypothetical. I think cases like this are the strongest argument for abortion and policies requiring people who discover serious congenital defects early in a pregnancy to carry to term are less popular than policies allowing men to play women’s sports. That said, maybe people should make their agonizing life decisions in private instead of using them for content.
