Global crises like climate change and pandemic response pose critical challenges for society. Solutions to such challenges require social change. But how *does* lasting, beneficial social change occur? Strangely, few have asked that question in a rigorous way. 1/
So I put it in the beginning, only to realise that it was pointless because so much else should have been taught first in order for students to understand it. Now, I agree that the only way to do this is to refer to evolution everywhere and gradually build an understanding.
How should we engage students in the #concept of #intelligence? @drmichaellevin & colleagues continue to offer thought provoking views on the boundaries of this central yet illusive idea in the context of #biology.
#DNAV is an evidence-informed youth well-being framework. Amazing to see the #practice spreading across a full city. Next steps from our view is to empower school communities to also engage with the #interdisciplinary#science behind it!
