Okay yes a second Trump presidency is terrifying but based on these Trump picks, I think there's a decent chance that stupidity gets in the way of the fascism. I think that's our hope: crippling idiocy.

Not just "luxury" clothing. My first job was in (budget clothes chain) "Best & Less". When items hadn't been bought (even after a discount or two), staff would be ordered to "write them off" - which meant slashing them up with box-cutters, before chucking them in the rubbish bin.

This isn't just Burberry being wasteful. It's a calculated strategy used across the luxury industry. They use specialized waste disposal companies to destroy unsold goods... Complete with strict security protocols and documentation. The scale is staggering:
