Derby Park, Bootle, #Liverpool 1937. My mum is the smallest. Aged 7 before the war. One of the rare photos I have from her childhood. instagram.com/p/CIeW8SVgek7r…

My favourite TV is on again. 30 mins of relaxation, beautiful scenery & fun. I miss little Ted though. #MortimerWhitehouse And away....

Shocking post on Healthunlocked.com today about a UK GP who refuses to prescribe correct dose opioids for refractory #RLS in accordance with a top specialist's advice & has told the patient that the spasms & jerks (common in severe RLS) are all in her head. #Negligence

Watching 'Ye Olde Bastardes' TV. #MortimerWhitehouse on #Dave channel. All the Ads are about incontinence products & cremation plans. I must find a cheerier channel.

I would never buy a house with marble tiles in the living room. Fine in Marbella, but not ideal for Northholt. #HomesUnderTheHammer

These goddesses haven't aged at all. They look as stunning as they did 22 years ago. #Misteeq #TheOneShow

FANTASTIC news for #RLS patients. A new Mayo Clinic Algorithm has been released to make it clear that #DopamineAgonist drug holidays/rotations are NOT recommended when augmentation has occurred. Iron infusions should be given when serum ferritin is 75-300. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

So let's hope that UK neurologists read this algorithm ( backed up by studies) & STOP prescribing #dopamineagonists, stop drug holidays/rotations & start prescribing #buprenorphine & #methadone if iron infusions & gabapentinoids fail.

15,000 homes suffering a disrupted water supply. 7,000 more at risk of losing their water supply. During a heatwave. And this is on top of severe South East Water outages in December and January. ⁉️ How on earth does South East Water still have a licence ⁉️ Take South East Water into public ownership NOW. My neighbour couldn't stand the London Heat & humidity anymore. She's driven to her seaside flat in Weymouth, where it's a whole 4⁰ celsius lower & there's a seabreeze. Very jealous.

I'm delighted for my adult kids. They love this weather. But it's a bloomin nightmare for those with #MS. 26⁰ inside a dark house at 3pm in London. I need to move North.

Please Share 🙏🏽🚨 A man with *STAGE 4* Incurable Brain Tumour is being forced to move onto the 15th floor of a Tower block or make himself intentionally homeless. He has mobility issues from chemo and his doctors have previously written to Thurrock council.

At 4.12 am I'm sat at South Mimms services watching the sunrise. My car packed up while away for weekend. The RAC recovered me and vehicle from Bures, which is 99 miles from home at 9pm last night and dumped me at Thurrock Services at 11pm with no info about the 2nd leg. When eventually the next driver arrived at 1.45pm he informed me he was dropping me yo South Mimms which if travelling on M25 is further from my destination than Thurrock. After being dumped at South Mimms and an hour trying to get RAC to answer the phone, my new estimated arrival of 3rd driver is between 7 & 10am which is an absolute piss take and they refuse to confirm that the next driver will take me to my destination. Considering I'm registered disabled and s Blue Badge holder the service is a disgrace and certainly not what they advertise. If they don't arrive until 10 am, that will mean it will have taken RAC 13hrs to transport me 64 miles. An average of 4.9 miles an hour. I would advise anybody yo think twice before taking out their breakdown cover. As a sub note, when I reported the breakdown I told them I was sat on a fishery and as its a bank holiday I would have been happy for them to pick me up at around midnight to avoid traffic and their busy time. They told me they can't do that. What an absolute joke of a company!
