A few years ago I decided to move towards my fears. Life-changing.
Do it scared. Any time you worry you can’t do something, do your best to prepare earnestly and try it anyway. You’ll surprise yourself. Even if you fail, there’s still a lesson in there to learn from and you’ll live life with less “what ifs”

One of the hardest things to accept for the first time is that the world is not a meritocracy. Regardless of what they say. Hard work alone can leave you with zero to show for it. There are other things you have to optimize for. The right relationships. The right support etc.
