#FollowingTheDrugs The @HMUStateHouse , working in collaboration with @CID1_UG has this evening conducted a search at Advanced Skin Clinic, a private health facility owned by Dr. Robert Asaba, who is also the Director of Our Lady of Consolata Kisubi Hospital. During the operation, 170 surgical gloves labelled “Government of Uganda – Not for Sale” were recovered from the facility. Initial findings indicate that the gloves had expired on 30 September 2024. The search follows an earlier investigation in which government medical supplies were found in the possession of a Mechanical Engineering student at Makerere University. Investigations are ongoing to establish the source of the recovered items and any possible links between the two cases.
