Sir James Bevan spent 8 years at the Environment Agency and oversaw the decimation not only of the agency but every river in the country. He's recently reappeared again on the boards of Welsh Water and the Canal and Rivers Trust. Rather ironic coming from an organisation that is currently chaired by one Emma Howard Body the former chair of the Environment Agency who oversaw and was responsible for the utter decimation of the EA and with it every river in the country. PS. Current projection is that by 2027 just 6% of England's rivers will meet 'Good' ecological status down from 24% in 2009. Good job Emma.
