In 2021, HOME identified 555 people experiencing homelessness in Bermuda. By the end of 2025, that number was 1,331. The need is growing. So is our commitment to meeting it. But we cannot do it without the support of this community. Would you like to help? Donate here: home.bm/donate/ đź’š #HOMEBermuda #EndingHomelessness #Bermuda #Donate

Wondering what your donation to HOME actually funds? It funds the consistent, skilled professional presence of a case manager. Someone who works alongside people experiencing homelessness in Bermuda, navigates the system with them and stays committed to lasting change, not just a quick fix. That is what ends homelessness. Not a bed for a night. A relationship built over time. Would you like to donate? Click here: home.bm/donate/ đź’š #HOMEBermuda #EndingHomelessness #Bermuda

Good case management isn't a checklist. It's a relationship đź’š

The people you don't see. Not everyone experiencing homelessness is sleeping rough. Many are on a friend's sofa, in a car, in a temporary arrangement with no guarantee of tomorrow. They don't get counted in official figures. They rarely access support. In Bermuda, the true number of people experiencing homelessness is higher than any report can capture. Would you like to help us reach them? Donate via the link in our bio đź’š #HOMEBermuda #EndingHomelessness #HiddenHomeless #Bermuda

Some people leave a legacy that lasts long after they're gone. Born in Bermuda in 1873, Matilda Smith Williams dedicated her life to caring for others. Upon her death in 1940, she left her property with one wish—that it become a home for elderly women in need. That wish became reality. The Matilda Smith Williams Senior Residence Home opened in 1962 and has been caring for Bermuda's seniors ever since. Her legacy is a reminder that the desire to house and protect the most vulnerable in our community is not new. It’s part of who we are as Bermudians 💚 #HOMEBermuda #MatildaSmithWilliams #Bermuda

We don't do this alone. HOME works alongside businesses, landlords, donors and organisations across Bermuda who believe that homelessness can be ended. Together, we're making that case every single day. Thank you to our partners, volunteers and donors for showing up for our community đź’š #HOMEBermuda #EndingHomelessness #Bermuda

Want to get involved but not sure where to start? Here's how you can support HOME: We're always looking for people who want to show up, whether that's giving your time, your skills, or simply spreading the word about what we do. No experience needed. Just a willingness to be part of the solution. Drop us a message, visit our website, or share this post with someone who might want to get involved. Every bit of support helps us reach more people in Bermuda who need it most đź’š #HOMEBermuda #Volunteer #EndingHomelessness

In 2010, 82 people in Bermuda were experiencing homelessness. Today, that number is 1,331. That's not a distant social issue. It's families, workers and individuals across our island living without the stability of a safe home. And the true number is likely even higher, many people in temporary or insecure arrangements never get counted at all. Homelessness doesn't happen overnight and it doesn't only happen to other people. It can start with a job loss, a rent increase, a relationship breakdown. Homelessness in Bermuda is growing. That's why we're here. #HOMEBermuda #EndingHomelessness #Bermuda #HousingCrisis #HomelessnessAwareness

A big thank-you to the team at Everen Global for its generous support ahead of the next cohort at Black Circle. Its team came together to help prepare the space for the next group of individuals joining us at HOME, bringing every supply needed and helping refresh the rooms with new curtains, fresh sheets, comforters, and dignity supplies. Special thanks as well to Gina Richardson and Eddie Glasford from the Black Circle team for leading the refresh day and helping make sure the space is ready to welcome clients as they begin the next stage of their housing journey. We’re truly grateful for community partners like Everen Global that show up in such a meaningful way. 💚 #HOME #CommunitySupport #ThankYou

No news isn’t always good news. Just because a tenant hasn’t reported an issue doesn’t mean everything’s running smoothly. Silence can allow small problems—like a minor leak—to grow into major, costly repairs. 🛑 Don’t assume no calls = no problems ✅ Encourage regular check-ins and inspections 🔧 Small fixes today prevent big costs tomorrow Stay proactive, not reactive. #RentingReady #LandlordTips #HOME #BermudaHousing #PreventiveMaintenance

Mary’s story is a powerful reminder that homelessness is not permanent when the right support is in place 💚 After more than 20 years without stable housing, Mary worked alongside HOME and our partners to navigate services, secure resources, and rebuild her path. Today, she has transitioned into her own home. Her journey reflects the strength of persistence, partnership and holistic care. #HOMEBermuda #EndingHomelessness

Our team participated in staff training in partnership with STAR, focused on supporting individuals living with HIV and AIDS, particularly within vulnerable communities. Sessions like this help strengthen our understanding, reduce stigma, and ensure we provide informed, compassionate, and inclusive support to those we serve. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue learning and growing as a team đź’™ #HOMECharity #Bermuda #CommunitySupport #EndHomelessness
