What an unbelievable week this is turning out to be. First the world lost one of the great second generation imagineers, @boss_angeles, and then we lost one of the custodians of early Disney YouTube, Adam the Woo. I hope both are resting in peace wherever they may be.

Morgan Freeman was not cast because he was black. He wasn't there for DEI purposes. Him being black did not hurt or change the story in any meaningful way (the Judeo-Christian god is not known to be of a particular race). Morgan Freeman is also not woke, and he occasionally speaks out against race-baiting and things like black history month. He does not like being thought of as a black figure, but as an American. Morgan Freeman is one of the most unifying black men out there, which is completely counter to the DEI movement.

I genuinely think when I was a kid I used to go to a soft play called Adventure World. It’s the worst name you could think of for a Disney park. But here we are.

Fair enough but after the decisions & output received over the last 5-10 years, the problem is trusting @Disney under @RobertIger &his executives to spend $60 bil in the parks without causing further damage. The lack of theming integrity for forced IP placement has not gone well!

While Walt should rightfully take the spotlight today, it would be a travesty to not acknowledge the magnificent @Michael_Eisner who revitalized the company for an entire generation by emulating Walt's leadership closer than any of us deserved. God Bless You, Michael #Disney100
