Genius.
I've been following Marc's indie hacker journey for a long time. In fact, Marc's success has always felt almost inevitable to me. He has an "unfair" advantage: his ability to create content and videos is, in my view, truly top-tier. Even in the early days, before any of his products had generated meaningful revenue, he was already making high-quality videos like this. I remember most of them were made to promote his own products, but they were incredibly creative and often made me laugh out loud.
When someone can consistently create great content, tell one compelling story after another, and gradually earn the trust of a large audience, success is only a matter of time.
I documented my SaaS journey to $20K MRR.
It took 512 days.
I got excited, I cried, I laughed, I lost hope. I got literally every moment on camera.
This video is the raw story of what building a startup actually feels like.
